A considered process, not a shortcut

Waterproof building boards with carefully detailed joints and junctions for long-term protection. When installed correctly as a complete system, Wedi provides a fully sealed, waterproof substrate, while its cementitious surface provides an excellent base for the adhesion of tile adhesives.

Steel studs provide a straighter, stiffer and more stable framework than timber. They do not absorb moisture, swell or warp, helping create flatter walls and a more consistent substrate for accurate, high-quality tiling.

We use multilayer composite pipework with press-fit connections throughout and do not use push-fit fittings. The pipe combines corrosion-resistant polymer layers with an aluminium core, providing strength, form stability and low thermal expansion.

Wherever possible, we form changes of direction in the pipe itself and keep concealed joints behind walls and floors to a minimum, reducing the number of potential points of failure in the installation.

We strip every bathroom back to the original studs or blockwork rather than building over existing finishes. This gives us full access to route plumbing and electrical services properly, correct any underlying issues, and ensure the Wedi waterproofing system is securely fixed to a sound, stable structure.

Starting from a clean substrate allows us to build the bathroom in the most considered way possible, rather than simply working around what is already there.
