A Fresh Look That’s Built to Last
The Brief
Liz lives in a two-bedroom terraced house in Balbriggan with one main bathroom.
While the existing layout worked well, the fixtures, fittings and tiles had become dated and tired. Liz wanted to refresh the space and create a bathroom that felt brighter, cleaner and more enjoyable to use.
Her main priorities were to lighten and modernise the room, improve how easy it was to maintain, and ensure that the new bathroom would remain practical and attractive for many years.

From concept to detailed specification
The design process for Liz’s bathroom was relatively straightforward, as the existing layout already made good use of the available space.
Rather than making unnecessary changes, we retained the layout and focused on specifying high-quality, durable materials that would stand up well to everyday use.
Liz was involved throughout the selection process, providing input on the tiles, fixtures and finishes.
The lighting was also carefully planned to make the room feel brighter, more open and more welcoming.
